THE RISING ROLE OF ENERGY STORAGE – REINVENTING THE MODERN ELECTRICAL INFRASTRUCTURE

Energy storage is becoming an integral part of our electrical infrastructure. Electricity, without a power storage solution, must be consumed immediately upon generation. The nation’s electrical grids are carefully managed by grid operators to ensure a perfect balance between supply and demand. Typically, this equilibrium is achieved as operators instruct power plants to adjust their electricity production, often minutely. Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) grant these operators quick access to power on an as-needed basis.
